What is Hospice?

Hospice is specialized health care provided to people who are

experiencing advanced terminal illness. Hospice care focuses on promoting quality of life by providing compassionate care. The hospice care team partners with the patient’s families to provide comfort during the last phases of their illness. This team of professionals collaborate to manage the patient's symptoms so that their days may be spent with dignity surrounded by their loved ones.
